Elegant Ruby and Blue Sapphire Pin. Given to me by my Nana (née 1899).
The gold stamp is “90” which indicates
22k gold—-a very old gold stamp. Every
Source I used said that “90” means between 18 to 22k but most agree that
90% means 22k. The Ruby is close to
1 carat, the sapphires are likely 1/2 carat or less. Gram weight is 3.16. Cannot get
caratage of stones without disassembling. It’s about 100+ years old. I’m happy to keep it so price is firm.
